New Domain – C9WS.com
We’ll be moving to http://C9WS.com shortly, from http://cloud9nine.net. We’ve never really been happy with the cloud9nine.net, as it’s redundant, clunky and hard to remember. So, we’ve settled on C9WS.com – from CloudNine Web Services – which in surveys of our clients was rated the easiest to remember out of 6 possible domains.
This will probably happen within the next few days. We don’t expect any issues on any sites we host, however, there may be short downtime and/or issues on this main site itself, due to our scripts still pointing at the old domain. If you encounter any errors, please contact us.
Oh, and our e-mail addresses will remain basically the same – all old emails will be transferred to their same username @c9ws.com.
What does this mean for you clients? Not a lot, other than a better domain for your web host. Anyone using a *.cloud9nine.net subdomain will have the option to migrate to a *.c9ws.com subdomain (but this is a very small minority of users). The ns1/ns2.cloud9nine.net nameservers will remain active, but you really should point your domain at ns1/ns2.c9ws.com once the domain change is complete. No new accounts will be permitted to use the old nameservers.
